Session description

Educators do not lack time because they are disorganized, and (though it can be difficult to admit) it is not due to excessive responsibilities compared to other professional roles. Establish effective goals and refine your practice through structured time, disciplined action, and a cadence of accountability both professionally and personally.

Outline

Facilitator will introduce learners to the Alignment Capacity-Building Framework and Integration Guide (ASCD, 2023) and explain how they can utilize the different components to guide their goal-setting and day-to-day practice at the individual, team, and organizational levels. Learners will dialogue in pairs and small groups about each of the strategies using reflection prompts and tools. Facilitator will provide participants with key resources and action planning tools for each strategy to guide their next steps.
