Session description

This session will be led by a Wallace Foundation researcher and will include reflections on findings from a report that looks at two Equity-Centered Principal Pipeline Initiative school districts with predominantly Latino student populations (Fresno and San Antonio). We'll examine past, present, and emerging issues of importance for this community, including ways that language, history of migration, and culture shaped how these districts have approached leadership and leadership preparation.

Outline

Content will be presented in a traditional session style with the Wallace researcher presenting the situational context of the principal pipeline initiatives, structure for implementation, successes and challenges from the project, and findings from the report. There will be an opportunity for the audience to ask questions at the end of the session.
