Event Information
ISTE+ASCD is excited to welcome international attendees to the conferences in Orlando, Florida! To ensure joining us for our events is easy and accessible to all, this page provides critical information to help international attendees navigate current travel requirements.
Participation in ISTELive is available both in person and virtually. You can find more information about pricing and registration on our conference site.
If you’re not a current U.S. citizen, attending the conferences in person requires some additional steps in order to participate with us in Orlando.
Citizens of some foreign countries need a visa to enter the U.S. due to U.S. State Department regulations. U.S. embassies and consulates may require face-to-face interviews for most nonimmigrant visa applications. You’ll find the specific steps to complete that process below.
Note: Requirements may change. Consult the U.S. State Department website regularly. Not all travelers need a visa to visit the U.S. Review list of countries that do not require visas
There is no required documentation to schedule your face-to-face visa interview; you do not need to be registered, have a hotel reservation, or have a travel itinerary to make an appointment. ISTE+ASCD strongly suggests that all international travelers who will need a face-to-face interview schedule one as soon as possible.
Note: While travelers should schedule their appointment as soon as possible, the appointment itself should take place after registering for the conferences. Registration and housing for the conferences is currently open.
To schedule an interview for the visa application process, contact the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate. Please visit the U.S. State Department travel site for more information. Find current visa wait times here.
Before your scheduled visa interview date, international travelers must register for the conference. Registration is now open.
To request an invitation letter from ISTE+ASCD for a visa application, please email our customer service team at iste@iste.org with the following information:
Expect a letter to be sent within 3 business days of your request.
