Event Information
This poster will showcase an overview of the Aviary Alliance Project completed with third grade students. This poster will include descriptions, research tools, a project progression flowchart, project photos, final project reveals, and links to access this information at later times. Presenters will speak one-on-one with visitors, explaining various points and goals of the project. Attendees will be given the opportunity to share their own experiences and ideas when working with local groups and receive feedback for future projects.
Interaction will be continuous throughout the scheduled block. Attendees can peruse the poster or have conversations with the presenters to engage further with the content.
Individual conversations will be the main form of engagement, personalizing the content to match the needs or ideas of the viewers. There will also be interactive media that can be accessed at a later time. Finally, there is the opportunity for future planning and collaboration through a optional contact form, as well as a guest book peer-sharing platform.
After this session, participants will be able to identify practical strategies for collaborating with local community groups, designing an appropriate real-world design project for students, and identifying future points of connection to make projects and partnerships sustainable for future years.
