With increased technology use comes an increased need for Digital Citizenship education. With little time to teach these important concepts, regular Morning Meetings can offer the perfect setting and framework. From read-alouds to polls and sharing, you can infuse DigCit topics into the thoughts and actions of your students.

Outcomes

Participants will learn topics critical to building true Digital Citizenship skills and how to design a Morning Meeting framework for getting the conversation started - including but not limited to greetings, activities, topic sharing, and read-alouds. We must help students grow from Digital Natives to good Digital Citizens who make strong, healthy choices as they navigate digital spaces now and into their future.
