Session description

The Future Ready Librarians® Summit is a hands-on, collaborative learning experience designed to empower school librarians as leaders of innovation, equity, and instructional transformation. Using the updated Future Ready Librarians® Framework 3.0 as our roadmap, participants will explore how librarians can shape the future of teaching and learning by supporting multiple literacies, guiding responsible AI use, protecting the freedom to read, and strengthening instructional partnerships. Through interactive discussions, small-group design activities, and practical goal-setting, librarians will engage deeply with the six key “edges” of the framework. Together, we’ll map a personalized leadership journey that equips librarians to foster collaboration, elevate student creativity and voice, and build future-ready learning environments.
