Shawn Canney has worked in public schools for more than 24 years. During his first 18 years as an English teacher, Shawn worked to incorporate art and creative thinking into his lessons. After infusing technology into his classes, he then became an Apple Distinguished Educator and and Adobe Campus Leader. For the last 6 years, he has served as an Instructional Technology and Innovation Coach at Drew Charter School. He continued to encourage creative engagement and critical thinking through the use of technology. Recently, he has been incorporating the use of AI into his schools' curricula.
