Dr. Alex Boggs is a high school history teacher, assistant professor of history, qualitative researcher, and educational filmmaker. He has taught historical thinking, European History, and Documentary Film over the last ten years. He has developed curricula for the high school at which he teaches and advocated for the use of more video assignments through the content areas. His research has focused on historical skills developed through student-directed videos. He has directed, edited, and shot roughly 300 videos of various lengths for educational purposes. He's an advocate for students with ADHD, Autism, and other neurodivergences.
