Session description

This session will focus on utilizing literacy assessments to inform instruction. We will discuss ways to tailor instructional plans to meet needs. Attendees will learn the difference between assessments, how to create lesson plans to effectively provide instruction, monitor progress, and use the data to make decisions about future instruction.

A handout will be provided for notes and with session information.
A.The first part of the session is informational and reflective, so participants just need space to write or type.
B. Participants will work with a partner to find areas of need using example data after I present information for steps 1 & 2.
C. After an example is presented, participants will use a skeleton outline to develop a literacy plan for the week based on given information.
-A list of ideas will be charted by Presenter as participants share ideas for Progress Monitoring for student growth.

Questions will be asked at the end if time allows, and I will share email information for further support. This is a Google Slide presentation that can be shared with participants as well.
