Session description

Explore model homes of the future through a student’s lens. Harness youth creativity and passion through cross-curricular projects with real-world impact. See how blending engineering, science, and culture with modern technology allows kids to imagine, design, and build an equitable and sustainable future for all.

Outline

The poster presentation will feature a rich array of images and QR codes linking to real student projects and presentations, showcasing the powerful integration of hands-on learning and digital tools. Attendees will see how students have combined creative writing and communication skills with technology, using video production, storytelling apps, and other digital tools to bring their ideas to life. The poster will also include photographs that capture the process of model-making and the final student-created designs, highlighting the seamless connection between physical construction and tech-driven communication. To further engage the audience, we will provide hands-on materials for exploration, allowing attendees to experience firsthand how model-making and technology can be effectively combined to create an immersive, integrated learning experience. This interactive approach will not only demonstrate the project's impact but also invite participants to consider how they might apply similar strategies in their own educational settings.
