Event Information
5 minutes - Introduction, physical activity, and overview
25 minutes. First round of comparisons. Previous technology devices from the 1970's - 2000's are shown and matched with current technologies. Microsoft and others say the VCR is the model for copyright issues with AI. We explore what that means. The interactive challenge will be to identify the objects (VCR's) and their purpose (harder than it sounds) before they are compared with new (AI). Devices have been digitalized and will be shown on screen. Their implementation successes impediments are the second round of the game. Successful integrations and failures noted, along with why they become obsolete.
20 minutes: Final round of challenges and technologies. Successful integrations and failures noted, along with how they each become obsolete and how newer, replacement technologies replaced them. And a guess (for points) what the next wave might be.
Remaining time: Debrief and participant share.
