5 min: Introduction. Participants will introduce themselves to neighbors and share three words that describe the organizations that they lead.
10 min: Understanding Collective Identity. What is it? What is it not? Why is it important. Participants will distinguish between two scenarios to determine which school has the stronger collective identity, then analyze how identity feeds school culture.
20 min: Introduce multiple ways to develop/build a collective identity - shared values, unique differences, desired impact, and around problems of practice.
10 min: Participants will be led through an exercise to show how this is done.
10 min: Now let's leverage identity in our leadership work and celebrate the impact our collective identity has made on our organization.
5 min: Bring session to a close through a call to action.
