Session description

This session highlights the collaborative journey of two districts—one in the USA and one in Singapore—developing K-12 STEAM programs. Presenters share how they established a unified vision, created implementation plans, navigated challenges, and built pathways for student engagement and innovative learning.

Outline

• Introduction (5 minutes): Introduce presenters and the collaborative journey between the two districts.
 • Vision and Goal Setting (10 minutes): Discuss how both districts established a shared vision for their STEAM programs.
 • Separate Implementation Plans (15 minutes): Each district shares its unique approach to developing STEAM pathways, integrating technology, and fostering student engagement.
 • Collaboration and Reflection (10 minutes): Highlight how cross-district collaboration informed planning, implementation, and continuous improvement.
 • Interactive Activity (10 minutes): Attendees engage in a short design-thinking exercise to envision their own collaborative STEAM goals.
 • Q&A and Networking (10 minutes): Open floor for questions and discussion about implementing STEAM programs.
