Your time and talents help to make the conference a huge success, and can help you:
Feel connected. Become part of a special community that drives the success of the conference.
Learn new skills. You’ll develop new skill sets you can bring back to your organization or use to enhance your resume.
Meet new friends and colleagues. Volunteers make connections with other educators that reach beyond their volunteer shifts and the conference.
Whether you’re attending in person or virtually, we have a volunteer team for you! Just choose the time commitment and activities that interest you. Remember, you don’t need to be a seasoned volunteer to get involved. We’re seeking volunteers who are reliable and have a positive, helpful and friendly disposition. Team and shift selections will open spring 2023.
Apply to be a Champion Volunteer and receive a refund of your conference registration fee upon completion of eight hours of volunteering. Volunteer activities include assisting attendees navigate the conference venue, app and program; assisting press representatives and presenters; supporting the AR/VR experience; and moderating hybrid sessions. Available to on-site attendees only. Applications will open spring 2023.
Being a Contributor Volunteer is the perfect opportunity if you only have a couple of hours to offer. Contributor Volunteers will receive a conference gift. On-site volunteer activities include assisting in ISTE Central and the bookstore; and supporting Creation Lab sessions, poster gallery and playground experiences. Virtual volunteer activities include moderating virtual sessions and supporting virtual posters.
With hundreds of sessions, dozens of playgrounds and poster presentations, and lots of off-site learning adventures, you might be asking, “Where do I start?” ISTELive 23 has a team of educators who are excited to help you design your ISTELive 23 experience.
If you’re attending in Philadelphia, join us for an ISTELive 101 session, and stop by the Learning Journey Design Desk to meet with a designer who will help you create a personalized learning path, provide tips and tricks for navigating the conference, and guide you in making the most of ISTELive 23.
More details available in spring 2023.
