ISTE strives to be an inclusive organization that elevates the work and amplifies the voices of all educators. To increase the number of educators from historically underrepresented backgrounds participating in our events and our community, ISTE is awarding scholarships to attend ISTELive 23, June 25-28, in Philadelphia and online.
All educators may apply for a scholarship, but priority consideration will be given to educators from historically underrepresented backgrounds and educators from under-resourced or Title I schools who would not be able to attend without support. Priority consideration for virtual scholarships will be given to international applicants.
Because school travel and funding can fluctuate throughout the year, ISTE is offering scholarships on a rolling basis in three rounds. Applicants will receive correspondence offering a scholarship or the opportunity to be waitlisted for the next round of openings.
Scholarship applications open Wednesday, Jan. 25.
Applications due: Monday, Feb. 13.
Awardees and waitlist notifications: Thursday, Feb. 23.
Applications due: Monday, March 20.
Awardees and waitlist notifications: Thursday, March 30.
Applications due: Friday, May 5.
Notifications sent: Monday, May 15.
Note: Waitlisted applicants do not need to reapply each round; applications will automatically be forwarded to the next round.
