Present at ISTELive 23

ISTE helps educators around the world use technology to solve tough problems in education. We seek proposals from educators at every career stage, from all backgrounds and all parts of the world, and we love to see student participation in presentations! We also welcome exhibitor proposals that demonstrate non-commercial uses of technology to transform education.

The New Ideas Call for Proposals Is Here – Submit Today!

Have an inspiring story that shares the impact of technology on learning? Have the chops to present your passions in 5 minutes? Can you create a visual art piece that represents innovation in education? The New Ideas submission period is open through March 27, and we’re looking for storytellers and creators like you!

Check out these exciting formats to get your creative juices flowing:

  • ISTE Ignite: Presenters have five minutes to speak about their professional passions using 20 images. Each slide is displayed for 15 seconds, and slides are automatically advanced. These presentations are meant to fire up the audience by generating awareness and stimulating thought and action!

  • Educator Voices Lightning Talk: Lightning talks feature inspiring presentations (8-15 mins.) that explore innovation in education. Educators share transformative practices, from cutting-edge technology to new approaches for teaching and learning. These talks use storytelling to examine how we’re shaping the future of education.

  • New for 2023 – Create a visual art piece for the ISTELive Discovery Museum! The ISTELive Discovery Museum will showcase visual artifacts representing learning experiences that have transformed teaching and learning. Accepted artifacts will represent a collection of technological, artistic and creative work from the ISTE community, and can come in a variety of shapes, materials, technologies and sizes. We’re looking for unique pieces that communicate a learning experience in 2D, 3D, digitally or virtually.

Suggest a Mainstage Presenter

Know of a visionary you’d like to see at a future ISTE conference? We’re looking for mainstage presenters who inspire us, amaze us and ignite our passion for learning.

Our mainstage presenters are individuals from any field, including education, who can bring fresh perspectives to our audience in new and exciting ways.

Catch our attention by:

  • Thinking outside the box. ISTELive isn’t your typical education conference.
  • Keeping it simple. Make your case briefly, concisely and with gusto.
  • Sharing examples. Link to videos and articles about your suggested speaker.
  • Offering diverse viewpoints. Tell us how your suggestion inspires, informs and broadens the perspective and practice of all educators.

Don’t be shy — if you’ve got a burning message to share, feel free to recommend yourself!
