Purpose: Share an alternative way to provide provide professional development.
The purpose of this poster session is for students to share how they build capacity for meaningful technology integration in their schools. The students are from various PA school districts. Students travel to Colonial Intermediate Unit 20 a few days throughout the school year to participate in learning/leadership lessons that focus on ISTE Student Standards and available technology tools. Then they return to their schools, work with their school leadership team to provide lessons on technology resources. Students in the program continue to collaborate with each other throughout the school year via Google Classroom. Each student technology leadership team adjusts the provided technology lessons to meet the specific needs/schedules in their respective schools. We have had a great response from school leaders on the value of the program, and it is back in person this year!
