Session description

Come learn more about how to use TikTok for education. You will spend time playing and learning in the app to better understand the algorithm, how to create short-form video and how to find educators you can learn from and follow on the app.

Purpose & objective

This objective of this session is to give educators a chance to better understand the most popular social media platform - and how its power and popularity might be harnessed for education. This session will give teachers an opportunity to play, create and better understand how the algorithm can lead them to the really creative personal PD experiences.

Teachers will leave with educators to follow, ideas for using in the classroom and the ability to create on their own if they desire. Teachers will create an ISTE Tik Tok to share out if they want - or watch other examples coming from the Lab.
