Session description

We will work with multimedia resources to create a movie trailer for a book. Participants will have the opportunity to draw characters and animate them using the online tool Animated Drawings from the Meta AI.

Purpose & objective

Employ digital resources to motivate students to increase reading interest.
Explore some uses that may have Animated Drawings (from Meta AI) in development of learning resources.
Applications of iMovie.

Outline

Introduction (5 minutes)
Draw characters: participants remember the last book they read and draw as many characters as they want. (10 minutes)
Animate the characters: they follow the instructions to animate the characters they drew. (10 minutes)
Producing a movie trailer: participants will import the animations to iMovie and they are going to produce a movie trailer for the book they read. (20 minutes)
Presentation of the works (15 minutes)
