Case study of how physical computing can be taught in such a way that children as young as aged 4 are able to show case their computer programming capabilities and raising the attainment standard by two years above existing or current expectations. Using a humanoid style robot manufactured in Edinburgh, Scotland, Marty the Robot by Robotical Ltd is a programmable device which is structured in such a way that pre-University level learners are able to engage in a highly educational way with the product. If this proposal is accepted, there will be a live playground opportunity to "thinker" with the devices for those attending. I personally have a track record of raising learning to new levels as my school featured on a video report for CNN Business in 2019 which focused on futureproofing the citizens of tomorrow.
A talk about how Marty the Robot became the instant learning sensation at the schools I work for during academic year 2021-22. Either four segments of 15 minutes over an hour or six segments of ten minutes. A combination of peer to peer interaction, device based activities and a potential game or contest.
