Tracy is currently a 1st grade teacher for the Wilmington Area SD. She has 33 years of experience with children from birth to 6th grade. Her passion is integrating developmentally appropriate STEAM and Technology into the everyday activities of an elementary classroom. She is a Google Certified Educator, Seesaw Ambassador, 2021 KTI star, and has served as a Lead Learner at the KTI Summit. She enjoys working with teachers as much as children, and the joy that comes from sharing ideas, resources, and collaboration!

Jennifer Toney is a #PAProudEducator and member of the Keystones Technology Innovators Star: Class of 2019 who teaches in Western Pennsylvania. She is a third grade English Language Arts teacher where she focuses on digital and analog blended learning approaches to all things literacy in her departmentalized, gamified workshop classroom. Her scholarly interests include multimodal composition in the elementary classroom, blended learning approaches to literacy workshops with young learners, and English Language Arts curriculum development in the K-5 setting. Session description

We'll share how we became inspired by “The Fred Method" and returned to our schools to implement it in our communities. This will be an interactive discussion about the core elements of Mr. Rogers' blueprint for making learning an active and engaging experience. Authentic examples will be shared.
