Session description

This session explains our process of equipping educators to ensure all students are receiving purposeful, technology-infused, future-ready classroom experiences. It demonstrates how a coaching framework that is focused on developing collective teacher efficacy is being used to create and implement a technology-infused shared vision of collaborative leadership.

Purpose & objective

The purpose of this session is to share our vision for overcoming the challenges of infusing technology into K-12 mathematics classrooms and how we implement this vision across the state of Alabama. This process of equipping educators ensures that all teachers who are being supported by our mathematics coaches have learning opportunities that build an understanding of effectively infusing technology into their mathematics lessons to improve teaching and learning for all students.

Participants will:
*recognize how educators in the state of Alabama are being equipped and supported to implement the vision of infusing future-ready and technology-rich learning experiences through a statewide coaching framework

*observe our pathway from vision to implementation using tools such as the SAMR model and the 4 Shifts Protocol to design lessons that integrate Alabama’s DLCS standards into K-12 mathematics content areas

*learn about our next steps for monitoring and continuing the vision of infusing technology to deliver high-quality instruction and learning.

Our session will highlight:
