Session description

Our STEAM-Makerspace lab is a universe of possibilities for our students. The projects focus on the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Through Design Thinking and PBL, students empathize with each other's problems, research, propose and build solutions, and then share them with the community. With nails, hammers, sandpaper, saws, robots, electronics, crafting, cardboard, recyclable materials and lots of imagination, they work collaboratively while having fun, creating and becoming empowered learners and developers of solutions to global problems. In my session I will show that STEAM is for everyone, teachers of different subjects working in a linked way with technology class for K-12 students. I will show how we integrate technology with STEAM activities in the elementary Makerspace with K-12 students.
