Join Philadelphia installation artist, Nicole Nikolich, the creative force behind Lace In The Moon, in the Creative Constructor Studio on Tuesday to create a community art piece out of crochet!
Drop by and learn the art of crochet – Nicole will teach you the basics of chaining and how to take your average strand of yarn and turn it into an extraordinary work of art. Use your new crochet talent and participate in the creation of a community art piece. While you learn this fun hands-on skill, connect with fellow makers, learn the ins and outs of Yarnbombing and what it takes to be an installation artist in Philadelphia!
Nicole will be hosting “learn to crochet” demonstrations every 30 minutes starting at 10 a.m. with the last one at 3:30 p.m. – you are welcome drop by at any point to check out the activities and get started!
The Creative Constructor Studio is located inside the ISTELive Discovery Museum.
