LeiLani Cauthen is a futurist and author of “The Consumerization of Learning,” many Special Reports, and podcasts. As CEO and learning software development expert at the Learning Counsel, she leads large annual K12 surveys and speaks in over thirty cities a year. During the pandemic, LeiLani pivoted in response to Administrators from across the nation to establish the Hybrid Logistics Project. The work to create intelligent calendaring with specific functions for schools meets needs today post-pandemic of flexible schedules, superior personalization and greater equity.

Mary has worked in both rural and urban schools as an early childhood educator, an elementary teacher, and a middle school science teacher. She has been an elementary principal, district administrator, and a post-secondary instructor. Serving educators in Nebraska, Mary is a Past-President of the Nebraska Digital Learning Association. Mary’s publications include Digital Media in Teaching and its Added Value and The Digital Revolution in Higher Education: How the Internet of Everything is Changing Everything. In her tenure at Cisco, Mary strives to bring quality technology to schools and publish blogs pertaining to technology for education.
