There are dramatic differences in the quality of teachers in every school. If all teachers could become more like the best teachers, we would have significant improvement. This session focuses on what leaders can do to get all of the teachers to be like their best teachers.

Outline

10 minutes on understanding the importance of having all teachers become like your best teachers. (Quick audience sharing).
10 minutes on immediately applicable ideas on recruiting and hiring outstanding educators. (role modeling with audience)
10 minutes on effectively on boarding new staff with highly effective staff members. (group reflection on why and how this process will work in their setting)
30 minutes on teaching, rather than telling, how to effectively implement innovating practices in their classrooms. (numerous activities for peer-to-peer and group sharing.)
