Session description

The presenter contends, “The primary purpose of teacher supervision is student achievement and continuous improvement of instruction.” When the instructional side of leadership suffers, it adversely impacts the entire school academically. The presenter will provide attendees with strategies for ensuring that instructional leadership is prioritized and implemented effectively.

Outline

Content and engagement: The entire session will be centered around instructional leadership. As this is a short 60 minute session, it will be primarily lecture as I want to get in as much information as possible in a short period of time but attendees will be encouraged to engage with me and to ask questions.

Time: Questions and reactions from the audience will dictate the amount of time that is spent on various components of the session.

Process: Primarily lecture. Audiences that typically attend my sessions are looking for information. Q & A will be embedded in the presentation.
