Explore our district’s AI Pilot Program with SchoolAI, designed to empower educators with AI tools for personalized learning and data-driven instruction. Learn from our journey, including the selection process, classroom integration, and best practices. Gain practical insights to launch your own AI initiatives and inspire innovative teaching.

Outline

Session Outline: "Launching a Successful AI Pilot Program with SchoolAI: Empowering Educators and Students"
1. Introduction and Program Overview (10 minutes)
We will introduce the SchoolAI Pilot Program, its goals, and impact through a brief poll and a success story to connect with the audience. Participants will engage with the program’s context and potential.
2. Demonstrating SchoolAI Features (20 minutes)
A live demonstration of SchoolAI’s personalized learning spaces, on-demand tutoring, and analytics will be followed by hands-on exploration. Participants will interact with the tools on their devices, sharing insights and discussing classroom applications.
3. Data-Driven Decision Making with Evaluation Feedback (15 minutes)
We will present how teacher and student feedback was used to refine SchoolAI features. Participants will analyze sample data in small groups and discuss how similar evaluation processes could benefit their own contexts. The feedback and analytics teachers are able to see in SchoolAI can support individualized learning and insight for how teachers can offer targeted intervention and support for students that is specific to individuali student interactions. This can enhance and transform student potential and achievement.
4. Best Practices for Launching AI Pilot Programs (10 minutes)
Participants will learn best practices for launching AI initiatives, drawing from the SchoolAI experience, and engage in a think-pair-share activity to identify potential challenges and solutions for their schools.
5. Reflection and Action Planning (5 minutes)
We will recap key insights and guide participants in creating an action plan for integrating AI, using a digital form to capture their next steps and commitment to applying these strategies.
