Session description

We want to inspire educators to create interactive K-12 pipelines for college and career readiness. We invite educators to join and explore our custom-built world, Minecraft CTE City. Attendees will take the world back to their schools to engage students in learning about Career Technical Education pathways.

Outline

Introduction to Minecraft CTE City & CTE Pathways -PowerPoint - 20 mins
- What is Minecraft CTE City
- Defining CTE Pathways
Host Overview and Exploration of CTE City - 20 mins
- Show all pathways
- Introduce Challenges
- Show additional Build Challenges
Host Minecraft World for Exploration - 30 mins
- Have participants log in
- Participants complete one pathway objective in groups or individually
Group Discussion on Classroom Use-case - 10 mins
Closing and Q&A - 10 mins

This is an interactive, explorative experience for participants to learn Minecraft, Education, and CTE Pathways and develop learning strategies for their classrooms.
