As we shift to blended learning, it is really important that we understand the tools we should be using don't substitute old teaching strategies but empower new ones.
This session will be hands-on looking and unpacking student examples of the learning tools to see if we can find the true underlining power of these tools. Participants will collaborative unpack both in person and digitally so they have an artifact to take with them.
Evidence of success will be ideas from participants shared on a padlet.
Hands- on Activity:
Using The Infused Classroom learning framework we will look at learning outcomes and the technology tools that can be used to amplify the learning process. We will look closely at making thinking and learning visible - what that means for these tools through student examples.

3. Reflections, Resources and Question Time
This session will be based around ideas of Making Student Thinking Visible by both Ron Richard and John Hattie. It will include a look at essential questions from Understanding By Design by Grant Wiggens and Jay McTighe. It will look at the constructs of cognitive learning theory found in Make it Stick by Peter Brown. All concepts part of the book are also included The Chromebook Infused Classroom authored and researched by the presenter.
