OVHS BioMed Tech lab and the STEM in the Valley pathways offer meaningful K-12 career explorations with technology on the cutting edge of industry. Presenters will peel back the cover on the culture of empowered educator leadership, partnership with the community education foundation and thoughtful curation of learning experiences to define the process for strategic development of locally relevant pathways.
Through this presentation we will share the pedagogical approach to integrating high tech equipment, the process for developing industry partners to support advanced student learning and strategies for funding high tech investment beyond the school budget.
Student presenters will demonstrate learning activities and share ways they use the Anatomage Table with remote access to the table in our school. Attendees will be able to follow student prompts to interact with the virtual anatomy models.
Course instructors and career pathway program developers will be on hand to discuss strategies for planning & development of technology-integrated pathways that provide immersive experience in career fields. Attendees will understand the benefits and importance of creating opportunities for students to try out careers, choose among a variety course offerings and explore their potential before choosing, enrolling and paying for costly post-secondary education.
Strategy guides and reference materials will be available via QR code. Connections and support from Anatomage and Anatomage Users Group will also me made available.
