As an organization founded and led by educators, the Modern Classrooms Project aims to empower teachers to become leaders in schools across the globe. The mission of our panel discussion is to inspire colleagues to better meet their own students’ needs via the use of a research-backed instructional model. Participants will leave the session with information regarding why and how they can begin their own journey into creating differentiated and personalized learning experiences in their classrooms.
We will also share a series of videos that demonstrates student success as well as the links to a comprehensive library of exemplar units of study, webinars, podcasts and collaborative spaces in which teachers can share ideas, ask questions, etc. about how to successfully implement our strategies into their learning environments.
Since our presentation would be a panel discussion, we will first share our personal experiences related to how and why the Modern Classrooms Project instructional model has positively impacted our respective learning environments. Once this has been achieved, we will shift to a Q&A type session so that attendees have the opportunity to ask questions and/or discuss how they can begin transforming teaching and learning in their classrooms.
We also plan to use digital tools such as Mentimeter to engage our audience throughout the panel discussion.
