Session description

Explore the why, what and how we learn in a world cafe style. In three rounds of group discussion, participants will leverage the technology of breakout rooms and brainstorm in a collaborative online document what teaching should look like and how they can implement lasting change in their classrooms.

Purpose & objective

Based on UNESCO's call to reimage education across the globe. The purpose of the session is to promote debate and collaboration among educators.
Attendees will participate in a collaborative live document to capture their thought and ideas of what must go, stay and be reinvented in education.
The presenters hope that attendees will leave with practical ideas of what they can do to effect change in their teaching, classroom, school and district.

Attendees will learn about the Active Learning strategy and the World Cafe method.

They will explore literature published by UNESCO to reimagine learning and brainstorm ideas with fellow attendees to make lasting changes in their teaching and classrooms.

They will have the experience of collaborating on a live PowerPoint document.
