This presentation aims to bring better awareness and understanding to individuals involved in developing professional development opportunities. In participating in this session, individuals will gain an understanding of how asynchronous professional development is successfully built and how it becomes inequitable and inaccessible if built improperly.
By participating in this session, participants will:
- Review what standards must be considered when developing professional development
- Ascertain why professional development is unacceptable if it is inaccessible or inequitable
- Acquire accessibility resources
