Participants will receive hands-on training using Canva. They will work on remixing templates to fit their students' needs and create authentic and engaging assessments.
Introduction (3-5 minutes)
I will teach them some basics of Canva such as how to search for specific templates and to create a new project. This portion will highly depend on the audience's needs. (10-15 minutes)
I will share various templates, and we will talk about ideas on how to use them besides the ones that I initially used them for. This will spark conversation about additional ideas which will be shared on a whiteboard template on Canva for the participants to access at will. (25-30 minutes)
Participants will have time to remix or create their own projects. They may even choose to collaborate with others or me. I will help with problems and learn from them while they are playing with Canva. (10-20 minutes)
I will wrap up with how to contact me and the information shared (3 minutes)
