Session description

Will you join us in this hands-on experience preparing a gamified learning experience for your students? We have a secret ingredient! Put on your apron and let's add a pinch of teacher creativity! This recipe won't taste like game-based learning — it will have a spice of gamification!

Purpose & objective

Learning experiences in a world that steals our students' attention and excitement for learning. A world that captures their curiosity what can we do when we have content and curriculum to cover. What can be a different way to deliver the learning experience. With some of no technology, the elements of gamification will provide your students an enjoyable learning experience.
This is why more and more schools are embracing gamification.
Remember that the elements of gamification are the motivating factor in the gamified learning experience and not technology itself. By incorporating elements of gamification you promote competition, collaboration and teamwork. In regards to competition, we should promote good digital citizenship and sportsmanship. Join me for these and more tips.
