She is also a co-founder of the first decentralized autonomous non-profit organizations for educators, by educators, called Ed3 DAO (ed3dao.com). Both organizations aim to reimagine education. Vriti has served as a teacher, a professor, a dean, & a director in public, private, & charter schools both locally & internationally across k12 & higher education.

Session description

The workforce is leveraging emerging technology to improve business. Individuals who know how to use these new technologies will be taking jobs from individuals who don't. Join this session to learn three ways you can start exposing students to the new world across Web3, artificial intelligence, metaverse and more.

Participants will be able to:
-identify major emerging technologies and how they are impacting the workforce and education
-understand the competencies and new ideas behind new technologies
-take away ideas for how to incorporate new tech and ideas into their schools

We'll start by identifying new and controversial technology that is shaping the workforce. Then we'll talk about how it's impacting education and what it's future is. Then we'll identify the underlying competencies and principles behind these new technologies. Finally, we'll get into particular ways these new technologies can incorporated into schools to prepare students to be successful adults.
