Hi! My name is Marquea Goike. I have taught for 11 years. I taught Kindergarten for 3 years down in Arizona, and taught Kindergarten, 1st grade, 5th grade, and 6th grade in Wisconsin. I have taught dual language, been a digital teacher, and been a Google Certified Trainer. As a technology passionate educator, I have created a Makerspace, been in charge of a STEM room, and continue to be a lifelong learner of all things technology in the classroom!

Session description

With this presentation I will share HOW to incorporate virtual field trips into a multitude of subjects and grade levels along with sharing numerous resources to find virtual field trips. I will share resources teachers can walk away with to sign-up for virtual field trips that very day, along with the three types of virtual field trips and why they are all important. I am also sharing different ways to do the various virtual field trips, such as either live whole class OR doing a menu for students to have a choice. Giving the choice and voice in virtual field trips allows buy-in and creates a creative environment for all. This aligns with ISTE Standards as well, and will be connected to the "Triple E" Framework.

Additional Information

My passion is this and I would love an opportunity to present, or get feedback from what I am submitting.
