Incorporating coding into the curriculum can help students develop essential skills, promote digital literacy, encourage responsible use of technology, and foster sustainability Develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills: Coding requires students to think logically and systematically, skills that are transferable to other areas of their lives. Promote digital literacy: As technology continues to play an increasingly important role in our lives, it's essential that students are equipped with the skills to navigate and understand it. Encourage globa digital citizenship: By learning to code, students can develop a deeper understanding of how technology works and how they can use it responsibly and ethically. Coding can also be used to develop solutions to environmental and sustainability challenges, such as creating apps that promote waste reduction or energy efficiency.
