Chryso Christodoulou is the founder of Digipro® Education and the FUNecole® Research Institute. With an academic background in Computer Science and Education, Chryso leads numerous teacher development workshops funded by European National Agencies. Chryso is the main designer and author of FUNecole®: A unique state of the art hybrid EdTech Solution that both aligns with the ISTE standards and is endorsed by the Cambridge International Assessments.

Session description

Innovation should create value. The undeniable value of this innovative poster is to establish interdepartmental teacher collaboration and departmental alignments, so every teacher in the school will abandon teaching in silos and be working towards the seamless integration of the STREAMS processes as a school-wide strategy and approach.

Purpose & objective

• Develop Science, Reading/Writing Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics and Social Sciences trans disciplinary learning experiences.
• Acknowledge the benefits and the importance of STREAMS education for schools, teachers and students.
• Prepare teachers to abandon single discipline and teaching in silos learning and develop trans disciplinary and agile cross curricula learning plans and learning experiences.
• Establish interdepartmental teacher collaboration and departmental alignments.
• Develop problem-solving skills, encouraging creativity and collaboration, and preparing students for the future workforce.
• Empower students to cooperate and create meaningful learning experiences.
• Asses the critical characteristics in the learning content and experiences to ensure high-quality learning.
