Session description

In a world of options designed to make a teacher's life easier, teachers are experiencing more burnout than ever. Meanwhile, Yale reports that 70% of students are bored. In this session you'll 'learn by doing', and get tools and strategies to implement the 5 steps to a student-led classroom.

Purpose & objective

In a social constructivism setting, teachers will experience, first hand as learners, driving the session through collaboratively solving a problem using the design process before learning the 5 step framework for ongoing student led learning in the classroom. Coaches and trainers will be able to use this same framework for staff PD.

Padlet, Canva and EdPuzzle will be used to create groups and collaborate.
