After teaching in Philadelphia schools for six years, Rob served as a teacher and school administrator for an online virtual charter school. Spending the following 17 years working directly for the charter school management company, Rob led the professional development of online teachers and administrators. He also led the development of new instructional methods, products, and services to help online educators, students, and their families. Now, at ASCD, Rob leads the development of online professional learning products.

Choice and agency are key ingredients in effective adult learning. Learn how ASCD’s Witsby platform can help you define and drive your personal professional learning and drive your own PD.

Purpose & objective

Educators will learn valuable insights, strategies, and practical tools to enhance their teaching practice. They will understand current trends and challenges in education, explore adaptable strategies for their classrooms, leverage technology effectively, create an engaging and supportive environment, and gain a broader perspective on education to better support their students. The objectives are:
