Dr. Kristen DiCerbo is the Chief Learning Officer at Khan Academy, where she is responsible for developing and implementing a research-based teaching and learning strategy for Khan Academy’s offerings in order to improve student and teacher engagement and outcomes. Dr. DiCerbo’s career has focused on embedding insights from education research into digital learning experiences. Prior to her role at Khan Academy, she was Vice-President of Learning Research and Design at Pearson, served as a research scientist supporting the Cisco Networking Academies, and worked as a school psychologist. Kristen has a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from Arizona State University.

Kara McWilliams is the Vice President of Product Innovation and Development at ETS, which includes the ETS AI Labs. Kara and her teams lead the ideation, co-design, development, and testing of innovative, assessment and learning products. Kara is responsible for the enterprise-wide AI strategy including the development and deployment of novel AI/NLP capabilities to support both operational efficiencies and new products and services. Kara and her teams work across the K12, Higher Education, Workforce, and Global Languages markets. Kara has a Ph.D. in educational research, measurement, and evaluation and an M.A.T. in curriculum and instruction from Boston College.

Joseph South is a national educational technology leader focused on evidence-based learning transformation. He presently serves as the chief learning officer at ISTE. He formerly served as director of the Office of Educational Technology at the U.S. Department of Education. He advised the Secretary of Education, developed national educational technology policy, formed public-private partnerships to assist state and local education leaders in transitioning to digital learning, helped school districts expand the use of openly licensed educational resources (OERs), and collaborated to nurture a robust ecosystem of edtech entrepreneurs and innovators.

Pat Yongpradit is the Chief Academic Officer for Code.org. He is an international voice on CS education and advises education systems around the world. Notably, he has led the development of the K-12 Computer Science Framework, the annual State of Computer Science report, and is now leading TeachAI, a global initiative to provide guidance on integrating AI in education. As a teacher, he inspired students to create games for social causes and implemented initiatives to increase diversity. He has been recognized as a Microsoft Worldwide Innovative Educator and featured in the book, “American Teacher: Heroes in the Classroom.”
