Dr. Katie Nieves Licwinko serves as a Teacher/Coordinator of Educational Technology Integration in New Jersey. She is a former middle school special education teacher. She has a doctorate in Educational Technology Leadership and is a Google Certified Innovator and Trainer. Katie has presented at national conferences, including ISTE, AMLE, CEC, and ITC, and has had her work published in journals, textbooks, and educational platforms. She is the founder of Assembling Inclusion, a podcast and professional learning platform centered on disability inclusion. She is passionate about using technology to support the needs and interests of all learners.

Session description

This session will cover using Google Classroom to design self-paced professional development for teachers. We will review how to design and organize interactive, engaging and collaborative courses by integrating various Google tools, and discuss how to use these courses to promote teacher growth and continued professional learning.
