Along: Small Connections Make Big Differences

I partner with schools and districts implementing Along, a free tool that helps educators build stronger connections with students through shared reflections. Prior to Along, I worked for Summit Public Schools as a success manager in the Summit Learning Program. I view all of my work through the lens of the lessons I learned from my students and mentors during my decade as a high school English teacher and debate coach.

Educator, entrepreneur, and non-profit leader Jared B. Fries ("JBF") brings over a decade of industry experience as a founding team member and the Partnerships Lead for Along at Gradient Learning. JBF started his career as a teacher before taking on new responsibilities in school leadership and district leadership prior to joining the founding team of Gradient Learning as a national school and district success manager supporting hundreds of schools across the United States. JBF is passionate about connecting education partners to build an ecosystem of relationships to #KnowEachStudent so school can be a place of learning for everyone.
