Session description

This presentation will provide teachers with quick strategies they can use in the classroom to build student passion and motivation for communication. Through the presentation, teachers will also learn how to increase opportunities for student oracy in the classroom. Attendees will learn about cultivating student voice and sense of belonging.

I will present strategies for building oracy and model them as I present them.

There will be lots of peer to peer interaction in this session as we build skills for oracy

Section one: Classroom Community 15 minutes

Section three: Designing learning for your classroom that promotes oracy.
