Session description

The accessibility playground will provide hands-on demonstrations and educator stories of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) in Action. Demonstration will include how to leverage built-in accessibility features on student devices that support multiple means of engagement, representation, and action & expression. Discover how to spark joyful learning for all!

Outline

The demonstration stations will focus on a built-in accessibility features aligned to one of the principles of UDL. After a demonstration, participants will get hands-on experience to explore the accessibility features and ask questions.

On the playground stages, educators will share inspiring stories of how they apply UDL into the teaching practice. The goal of the talks is to demonstrate how applying the principles of UDL can be transformative in a teacher's practice as well as in the lives of their learners.
