This presentation endeavors to support participants in exploring ways to utilize virtual field trips in meaninful ways in their classroom. This session is suitiable for any educator Pre-K and up. Google Treks, Google Voyager, Google Tour Builder, and Google Poly, and Google Arts and Culture are are all amazing vessels to transport your classroom beyond the phyiscal space. These sites and apps can also be used to curate specific journeys for students aligned with cirricular objectives and standards. Virtual field trips can even create collective experiences for students in virtual and hybrid settings. Successful implementation can lead to increased student engagment, creativity, and fun!

When I do this presentation, I always deliberately choose examplies from a wide variety of subjects to engage my participants. In addition, I encourage participants to follow along and explore the sites as we discuss them. I have a Google Drive Folder full of templates and project ideas that I share with teachers to reinforce the assessment piece of a virtual field trip.
