For many classrooms, distance learning was a "sit-and-get" experience for students. Educators presented on a document camera and demonstrated lessons while students sat passively and watched. This session will showcase engaging and interactive ways to allow students to be active learners.

Joelle Massari is a National Board Certified Teacher with a Middle Childhood Generalist focus. Teaching for over 19 years, Mrs. Massari integrates technology throughout the curriculum. With experience in grades K-8 in both the public and private setting, she is presently teaching fourth grade for Clark County School District in Nevada. She has a Bachelor's Degree from Saint Joseph's University in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree from Wilkes University in Instructional Media.
