As we make the move to blended classrooms, we must understand how important the shift is to digital pedagogies. These pedagogies require that we understand how assessment must shift from multiple choice - worksheet based instruction to a more visible form of learning.
Hands- on Learning Activity: “Rethinking Digital Assessments” activity infused with technology that we use to break down the learning framework and the new thinking and strategies needed to rethink assessment.
Using the learning framework we will look at learning outcomes and the technology tools that can be used to amplify the learning process.

5. Reflections, Resources and Question Time
This session will be based around ideas of Making Student Thinking Visible by both Ron Richard and John Hattie. It will include a look at essential questions from Understanding By Design by Grant Wiggens and Jay McTighe. It will look at the constructs of cognitive learning theory found in Make it Stick by Peter Brown. All concepts part of the book are also included The Chromebook Infused Classroom authored and researched by the presenter
